Had the most amazing POSH meeting today. While my weight is not at my 20 pd goal yet for my "Tattoo Reward" (since I was sick the other week and trying to get back on track with eating/walking), I walked out of this meeting more empowered than I ever could have imagined. Today H&H did an experiment with us that I actually did a couple years ago while taking a Mindful Breathing class at Hospice for us volunteers. I LOVED that course and today I remembered how good that course made me feel inside which in turn made my Soul shine. I remember walking out of those classes feeling uplifted, courageous, confident and like I could take on the world and today made me feel it all over again. If you've never heard of "HeartMath", I HIGHLY recommend you look it up. I have struggled for YEARS with lack of confidence and it keeps me trapped in my "safe zone". Today, with the help of the ladies in POSH, I realized how bad I want to "Sail my boat" and not just "Stay safe in the harbor". Through the HeartMath exercise and our talk after, I was once again reminded that my FEARS keep me in a spot I don't want to be, they keep my from believing in myself and from using my gift that I am meant to share with others. After doing this exercise I realized that I DO have the POWER in me, and I have had it all along. This power is just waiting to burst through the cracks and melt away the fears that hold me in a prison. I can not describe the power I felt today when my "pot of gold" overflowed with coins (see below) and I allowed the fears to melt away, and I felt the love inside me build so much that it couldn't help but take away every single fear inside me and allow my light to glow like it's never glowed before. This light was so powerful that it made me see that I NEED to move forward with my Dreams, I need to stop letting my lack of confidence hold me prisoner any longer. Everyone tells me how many gifts I have, yet I fail to believe it. It's time I stop the self doubts and start to BELIEVE again. Today, I remembered that my "gift/purpose" is to share my love/healing with others and remembering made my Soul shine brighter than it ever had before. I literally felt like I could take on the world - of course than the self doubt came back and my light went back inside. BUT at least I felt that light again and I am NOT gonna let it stay hidden much longer. I am so thankful for today's "HeartMath" as I totally forgot how good it made me feel. AND, it inspired me so much I came home and decided on a name for my new business, registered it and bought a domain name - no turning back now, I have too much invested - I AM going to beat my fears and I AM going to share my gifts with others so my Soul can shine once again. I can feel my passion coming back and look forward to this new journey I am about to embark on. I also feel deep inside me that by moving forward with this, removing the chains of fear and lack of confidence, it will also help me to release my weight that I have carried for safety all my life - once we feel we no longer need protection it will begin to release. I know I have a journey ahead of me with many ups and downs BUT at least I am taking baby steps to get there. It's funny how others can see the gifts inside us, yet we fail to believe them. I have found this with my Reflexology case studies. Every person I have done has LOVED the session (including my teacher), yet I still felt I wasn't good enough. It's time to STOP the NEGATIVE SELF TALK and start BELIEVING once again! I can't wait to get started! Sometimes we just need the spark from another person to rekindle that inner passion within us. I am forever grateful to Dr. H. for ALWAYS believing in me and reminding me of how far I have come, and that I CAN do this.
Today's Experiments:
#1 We were hooked up to the HeartMath program and watched our heart rate peek and drop. Than we were asked to think of something positive which in time caused our heart rate to lower and become more stable/steady lines. We were than asked to think of something negative and noticed the heart rate go back up and the lines began to peek and drop again taking us out of coherence.
#2 I was hooked up to the machine and the goal was to use our thoughts to make the rainbow hit the pot of gold through our thoughts/coherence. The more coherent we became the closer to the pot of gold it got. I took myself back to my mindful breathing days and slowly the rainbow grew. Than I began to think of my Grandma and Oma in Heaven and things they had said to me over the years that brought love to my life. I felt their presence and my Soul began to shine, I literally felt my body fill with light and spread out through my heart (which is what we are guided to do - breath out the heart), the rainbow hit the pot of gold in no time and coins began to grow inside. Than I began to do my mindful breathing where I breathed in the Love from my Oma and Grandma and breathed out the light inside me to everyone around me - within seconds the coins began to overflow the pot of gold and I hit 100% coherence. This is what stirred up all the things in me that I mentioned above and brought a few tears to our eyes. THIS is what living in BLISS must feel like!
*** a little flash back to my mindful breathing class - during one of the classes as I was doing the "love and light" breathing as I did above, I was lying on my yoga mat surrounded by the others in the room doing their mindful breathing when I felt a wave of heat surround my body (not like my usual hot flash, this was so intense yet peaceful) and than it shot out the middle of my back and wrapped around me - the strangest part was that it literally felt like Angel Wings were wrapped around me from by back hugging me to my front - it was one of the most amazing experiences I have ever had. Feeling the love/light in me today reminded me of that and what I have missed for the last 2 years after not taking the time to do my mindful breathing. We ALL have the power within us to transform ourselves and the world into a happier place, we just have to unleash it. We ALL effect others with our thoughts, we can chose to use the negative or the positive, I know which I prefer!

- Our thoughts determine our peace.
- The more love you send out, the more you get back.
- If we are in a stressful situation, you can change your energy/situation by tuning in and focusing on something positive (for me it is breathing deeply and saying the word LOVE as I breath in and LIGHT as I breath out - I breath in love and send out light to others)
- Our energy/thoughts effect others (when I took the Mindful Breathing Class, we had someone sit in front of the class hooked up to the machine and it took them along time to become "coherent", once we all closed our eyes and sent loving thoughts to this person, they immediately became "coherent" (same works if you send negative thoughts, but has the reverse effect - do you ever notice when you are in some peoples presence you become anxious, sad, angry or happy?)
- Living in love is so much nicer than living in fear.
