Well after a BAD week - YES this picture is correct -80 DAILY Pts in ONE day 😳 AND I used up ALL my extra weekly Pts PLUS went in the negative by -27 😳 (Poor planning and my emotions played a huge part in this) I was SHOCKED when the scale at weigh in read I was down 1.9 lbs !!! AND I hit my 15 lbs mark !!!! At first I played the "poor me" song while having a bad day and let myself get in the negative for my weekly points, BUT than I focused on my goal and was determined I was not going to have to tell Our leader Nancy I was up at our meeting, so I "Kicked my exercise into overdrive" and jogged an extra 1/2 hr 2x this week (I sadly also missed a few nights of exercise so really pushed myself). I love the Fitbit as I just noticed it tells you when you are in the "Cardio Zone" - I was able to stay in that zone for 40 minutes AND hit my "peek zone" for 5 mins !!!!
When I posted this in our WW group, everyone was so supportive and helped me to see the positives in this situation. While I had a bad day, at least I DID still keep track of everything that entered my mouth (trust me I wasn't going too, as it was getting VERY discouraging, BUT I am only cheating myself if I don't), I did the extra exercise to help compensate for the "slip" and I realized WHAT was making me eat and than stopped (albeit once it had gone on too long). The support in the group, in our online group and a few friends in it with me has been one of the most important aspects in me getting this far. We are too hard on ourselves and while we can see the great things in others, we tend to forget to see them in ourselves, so the support system to me is what makes it. Someone in our group today said they look at it as their "Health Class" that they are coming too (can't remember the exact words), and it "clicked" - We never like to spend money on ourselves, but this is one of those investments that is worth every penny! It's hard to believe today is 8 weeks since I started!
