Today was "Weight in day". Not gonna lie, I was a tad nervous as this new "lifestyle change" through Weight Watchers has seemed "too good to be true". This week I have felt so full and satisfied that I rarely snacked between meals and 90% of the week I had "left over points" that I didn't even use (and not once dipped into my "extra points" even on my birthday!). I don't feel like I am missing out AT ALL or sad that I can't eat what my family eats, as I now can!
I was shocked to see even MORE people at the Weight Watchers meeting this week than last week (couldn't even count them all) - it is so fabulous to see, and such a HUGE impact as we get so many tips, ideas and support.
Even with eating out FOUR TIMES this week (YUP you heard me right, I got to eat out FOUR times - 2 of them on my b-day) and enjoying my FAVOURITE "Fish and Chips" at Scran and Dram,
I AM DOWN 5.6 lbs !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I could not believe it! I almost fell off the scale! Seriously, if you saw ALL I ate this week you wouldn't believe it - BUT that said, I also am making wiser choices, cutting portion sizes and eating the RIGHT foods to fill me up! This is with NO exercise other than daily stuff, so I can't wait to see how well it goes when I start bringing in exercise.
As always, the last two weeks I walked out of our meetings with so many amazing tips from all the fabulous people at Weight Watchers. Having such a great group of supporters at the meetings is a key to my success (and counting points as it makes me see just how much things really add up (see below!) - this is coming from somone who swore I'd NEVER go to WW OR "count points".
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Weight Watchers now and there new program (NO "fat free or fake sugar stuff for me) !!!!!!!!
Just a little "wake up call" - sure SHOCKED ME
Here is what I ate on my b-day this year when I made WISE choices (The daily pts I am supposed to be getting in is 49 - OH MY - in the past I would have had major pts on my b-day as my meals would have been a lot worse PLUS I would have added in the brownie or some type of sweet treat at the restaurants - no, I would have added in SEVERAL of them! Needless to say I will NEVER be ordering this brownie at Swiss Chalet again :O !!!!)
