Walnut Apple Crumble
2 Tenderflake Deep Dish Pie Shells
Filling:
5 Apples (sweet ones)
2 tbsp Fresh Lemon Juice
1⁄4 cup All-Purpose Flour
1⁄4 tsp Ground Cloves
1⁄4 tsp Ground Nutmeg
1 ½ tsp Ground Cinnamon
1⁄4 cup PC Organic Raw Sugar
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
Mix the above and let sit until done making topping.
Topping:
1⁄2 cup Brown Sugar
1 tsp Ground Cinnamon
3⁄4 cup Walnuts
3⁄4 cup All-purpose flour
1⁄3 cup Butter, Melted
Mix the first four ingredients and add butter. Place Filling into pie shells and top with topping mixture.
Place shells on baking sheet and bake for 40-450 min @ 375. Let cool for a couple hours until set. Serve with Vanilla Frozen Yogurt or Ice Cream (not included in the pts)
